Liqueur

Once upon a time, lived a big fat king. On his buttons was grime, it didn’t even spare his ring. his breath smelt of liqueur, which made his missus fume, And his majesty flicked her, straight out of the room. She tumbled down the hill, past sheep and other cattle, and stopped in a windmill, with the sound of a rattle. Down came the miller, with his teenaged son, who picked a sand filler, and stuck it in her bum. She sat on a barrell of liqueur Which gave her quite a turn. The pain completely left her, and she danced like a fern. A peacock stopped by then, and shook his feathers with pride, and called out to the hen, and said, “let’s take a ride”. They flew towards the ocean, as if intoxicated, and mistook the sun, for something that got them irritated. What was it, you may ask. and I wouldn’t know, but I surely had a blast, when I was high and on the go. As for the queen’s story, I think we’ve had enough. rest assured she was hunky-dory and left the mill in a huff. The king wa...

Shadow Child

"Why do you cry dear child? Why do you shed these tears?" Because no one can see them Down here in the Deep. "Why do you hide here little one, In this place of no shadow?" In here, the darkness shields me From the evils of the world. "What are you so afraid of, To hide from the world above?" I fear their tell- tale eyes And words they tell me not. "But there are many good deeds. So why not see them yourself?" Alas, they are the worst kind, Ones that destroy all my barriers. "Do you not feel lonely dear, By yourself in this nameless place?" I live in fear of discovering That I am made up of lies. "Do you think that nobody Can love you and be your friend?" Upon me is placed a dark curse That destroys all who approach my heart. "I will love you, my child With all the kindness in my heart." You will be wise to stay away. See, already your hand burns. "Reach ou...

Ethiopian Coffee Kept Me Up All Night

It looked dark and mysterious like the depths of night, Unpolluted by milky whiteness, It's smell tempting and dangerous. One sip to unleash limitless possibilities, And one sip to ruin all. There it was, in a mug of innocence, Just waiting to catch the fool unawares, To reel you in. One sip to sink all restraint, And one sip to lose control. All the ale in the world paled before it. It stole away all taste for the finest. It even denied suffering. One sip to pleasure the senses, And one sip to leave you thirsty. To it, you compare my love, A drug that has utterly bound me. The delicious dark, my only escape. One sip to make me yours, Until there is no more.

Wedding Woes

The bride and the groom Caught me smoking in the bathroom. Upon me, fell an air of doom. "Your mother summons you to her room." I could already imagine her fume. Up floated the sound of the wedding tune. Scurrying out, I tripped over a spoon. "Fix your hair, you look like a goon!" Called out my sister-in-loon. Out there, dodging my aunt's swoon, I hid behind a giant loom, which was a gift for my brother, the groom. Suddenly, I heard someone croon, It was my cousin with her baby boon. The hall was getting crowded soon, With all too familiar faces and names none. Spying a door, I swept out of the ballroom. The staircase felt like steps on a dune And the floorboards seemed to groan. My heart felt like a thumping balloon. Hoping not to be found too soon, I stepped outside into the gloom. From the skies, smiled the moon. As I lit up and got enveloped in fumes, It didn't seem half as bad as the bathroom.

ROBIN HOOD

i looked under robin's hood and exclaimed 'ah me!'. you'll never guess what i saw, even if u guess a tree. his horse cane up to me, and said, 'neigh, neigh, neighty-noo!'. i took out my horse-english dictionary and it came up as, 'helloo.' by now, robin was pissed and tried to attract attention. he said to me,'oh fair maiden, forget my hood, look at my shin.' so i took a look at it and went into thrombotic shock, as far into as the eye saw and fell tumbling down the rock. i plagiarized a nursery rhyme and confessed it to robin. he gave me quite a telling-to so much that i got caught in. robin's horse got stung by a bee and it galloped away, far away. robin and i were glad to be alone even the thought made me sway. we found a cozy spot under a tree and sat down with ourselves. a snake on the branch distracted us. frightened, i made robin's lips swell. he looked at me with sweet pain and sighed, 'ah sweet beloved! you made my day!' ...

AN ODE TO PEEVES

metastasis, retinoblastoma, what friggin drama! its enough to put obama in a critical coma. no offense as such to cancer but full credit to its enhancer, cancer, lancer. 'love that car for sure sir' massa may say that. but i mostly doubt cat who told me the fact while he chased rat. theres something bugging me that haunts those in the infirmary. so i asked one, sophie lee 'what helps our eyes to see?' i hope u r concious or maybe supersticious. apple tarts are delicious scrumptididylumtious. you see, im not quite alright, and u with all ur might trying not to pick a fight with me, the friendly poltergiest! -rrr

Romance over the P.C.R machine

I looked at you, and you at me. It was that thing called destiny. It took just one look from you For me to follow out through The door, to our secret place. Where we would have sweet embrace. As we picked out the little ones And set them in lines at once. With the push of a button as it may, We prayed to god to make our day. And as I held your gaze again, I could see that it had begun. Illuminated by the sun, we did seem. Our romance was over the P.C.R machine. -R.R.R

The Cold Room

It's freezing. It's cold. The baby's in the bath. or did i throw it out? I've got to think fast, There's no time. The customers are waiting. It will all be lost. Movement doesn't come to me. I can't feel my fingers, My breath is icy. Someone unlock the door. Or is it open? Where is it? Why can't I find it? My reason for living, Come to me now. Where is the door? It's gone. All is lost. - R.R.R
